It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Commander Ronald T. Puckett. Commander Puckett passed away peacefully at home at 1:00am on 16 April 2024.
Ron Puckett was the Commander of American Legion Post 735 for many years, Past Commander of Erie County Committee American Legion, Member of AmVets #8113, West Seneca Joint Veterans Committee, Masonic Lodge #1111, and I.U.O.E Local #17.

The visitation for Commander Ron Puckett will be held on Friday, 19 April 2024 from the hours of 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Lakeside Funeral Home. The Legionnaires, Sons of the American Legion and the Auxiliary will honor Commander Ron Puckett with a service on Friday at 7:35pm. All units are welcome to join the Legion Family or honor Commander Puckett with your own service
A Funeral Service will be held at Lakeside Funeral Home on the following day, 20 April 2024, at 10:00AM. Graveside ceremony will follow at Acacia Park Cemetery, 4215 Tonawanda Creek Rd, North Tonawanda, NY
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to American Legion Post #735 Scholarship Fund.
